IP-6 (Inositol Hexaphosphate, also known as phytic acid) and inositol are naturally occurring compounds found in grains, legumes, and seeds. IP-6 + Inositol is promoted for a range of health benefits, including potential anti-cancer effects, antioxidant properties, immune support, kidney stone prevention, cardiovascular health, and mood regulation.

SAFETY & CONSIDERATIONS:

Generally well-tolerated, but high doses of IP-6 may cause digestive issues e.g. nausea, diarrhea or may reduce mineral absorption, e.g., calcium, iron and zinc due to its chelating properties. Inositol may cause mild side effects like headache or dizziness at high doses.

IP-6 may interfere with mineral absorption, so it’s recommended to take it on an empty stomach.   Avoid taking IP-6 with Vitamin C, which will lower the effect of absorption.   Take Vitamin C later in the day.

Avoid taking IP-6 if you are anemic as it will lower iron

Avoid taking IP-6 if you are on anti-coagulants
